Autoimmune and use of astragulus to ward off infection

Dear Stephen,
We live in an “infected” area, on a farm. We use astragulus in general but now after reading your book, use it to keep our T1′s up and ward off infection (my husband has been treated 2x). My question relates to an autoimmune compromised individual using this protocol. Specifically, my grandson (4 now) is Type 1 diabetic and my daughter has an unspecified autoimmune disorder. Aeden was bit yesterday. Type 1 is caused by the body attacking the pancreas’ insulin producing structures as foreign. So are there any particular considerations when helping his immune system? Will revving up his T1 or any other aspect of the immune system cause a problem? Know of any research in this area? Thank you

Stephen’s response:
It should be fine to use in that circumstance.
Stephen
