Does smilax bind to vitamins and minerals?
Dear Stephen,
Do you know if smilax binds other things besides the herbs (like vitamins and minerals) and therefore should be separated during the day from when you take other supplements? Similarly, do other detox agents like Absorbs More (activated charcoal), chitopower, and chorella bind either the treatment herbs or other vitamin/mineral/supplements and therefore should be taken separately? Thank you again – all help is so appreciated in dealing with lyme.

Chlorella is a good choice in lyme. I am not so fond of smilax as I once was and when I do the complete revision of the lyme book I will alter that section considerably. I don’t think there needs to be a separation from the other herbs when it is taken.
