Cooling vs. warming herbs
I’ve been told that andrographis has a cooling nature according to Chinese medicine theory. I am not supposed to take cooling herbs, but I can only assume that it is OK to take the andrographis, since I haven’t had problems with it (and there may not be too many alternatives to taking regular antibiotics).
My system of treatment is rather different, so I tend to look for what works rather than hot and cold. If you tolerate it, no reason not to take it in my system.
