Bartonella

Dear Stephen,
Are there any other herbs you know of that are particularly effective against bartonella? It turns out a lot of us are popping up with what Dr. Burrascano calls “bartonella-like organisms” and that may be part of why this is so difficult to treat.

Stephen’s response:
I was able to find much less on bartonella than the other two primary coninfectious agents and oddly, given that the organism has been recognized much longer than the other two, no herbal protocols at all.

Polygonum and red root will help, considerably in some instances but personally I think that there is another herb out there, so far not identified, that will be much more specific than either of those. However polygonum does seem to help, though I hear from many fewer people with bartonella than lyme.
