Astragalus and cryptolepis

Thanks so much for another option in fighting lyme and a fantastic book. I have had lyme two times in the last 10 years and beat it both times but do not want to use antibiotics again. I was symptom free and felt 100% until I found another deer tick on me 4 weeks ago. I did go back on doxy with a herx 4 days in – not sure if the new bite has activated dormant bacteria but I am having symptoms of lyme and babesia. With my past history should I add astragalus and what is the adequate dose for cryptolepis? Appreciate the help!

Yes, you can use astragalus; ask Kate Gilday at woodlandessence.com for the dosage on cryptolepis. She may have more up to date information since she uses it so much.
