Protocol for young teenage girl

Dear Stephen,
My 11-year-old daughter has lyme, bartonella and babesia. Is your herbal protocol safe for her? Are there any herbs in protocol that she shouldn’t take, or should use with caution? What about andrographis and progesterone production—could andro interfere with hormone production during puberty? What dose of artemisinin should she take (she weighs 35 kg)? Regards.

Stephen’s response:
Yes, the Healing Lyme herbal protocol is fine for children. Just lower the dose to adjust for her weight—divide her weight (in pounds) by 150. The best herbs for the co-infections here are red root, knotweed, and cryptolepis. I am no longer suggesting artemisinin. There should be no problems hormonally.
Stephen
